Starting at the Gore Gardens, take a stroll through our lovely parks, enjoy some exercise in nature, have some whānau time, and read this true story about Greta and giants as no one is too small to make a difference and help look after our earth.

This inspiring picture book retells the story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg — the Swedish teenager who has led a global movement to raise awareness about the world's climate crisis — using allegory to make this important topic accessible to young children.

Do the quiz as you walk, then collect a bee-friendly prize from Gore Library.

Access quiz via QR code and complete it online or take a paper copy from the first StoryWalk® post or copies available from Gore and Mataura Libraries. After completing the quiz, come down to Gore Library and collect a wildflower seed prize pack to take home and grow to help feed the bees.
